Xiaomi has struck a pretty nice balance with this year’s Redmi Note 12 4G. The handset has an excellent display, long battery life, sufficiently fast charging, adequate performance, the latest MIUI + Android combo (unlike its siblings) and, although largely unimpressive camera performance, it’s still rather decent for the price bracket. We wish more work went toward optimizing the dedicated Night mode. We also wonder why Xiaomi removed the stereo speakers and the NFC. That last bit may be a deal-breaker for some of you who use the phone for contactless payments. The rear camera consists of an 8 MP (wide) + 0.08 MP (depth) sensor lenses. The front camera has a 5 MP sensor. The smartphone comes in 6.52 inches size and the display is IPS LCD touchscreen that provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Redmi A2 is equipped with accelerometer sensor and it features Type-C USB, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and Bluetooth 5.0. It is packed 2 GB, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
