The Nintendo Switch (Japanese) is an enhanced, OLED model of the hybrid console of the same name. Like its original model, it is both a home console and a handheld console. First officially announced on July 7, 2021,  the OLED model of the Nintendo Switch was released on October 8, 2021. It features a 7-inch OLED screen, a wider and adjustable stand, enhanced audio, a wired LAN port built into the dock, and 64GB of internal storage. The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition system features special illustrations of the Legendary Pokémon appearing in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, Koraidon, and Miraidon, as well as the partner Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
